iTube: Transition makeup look from Day to Night

   A week and a half have gone by and no posts from me... I'm so sorry guys, as I mentioned before we're moving back home in a couple weeks and I'm really astonished by the amount of junk a person can accumulate in 9 months, mostly from the kids (of course I'm blaming on them!) hehehe

   I'm having to go trough everything and do the "keeping or tossing" kinda thing, and I haven't even started packing yet, well that's not entirely true. I did start packing my scarves and it took a whole entire medium size suitcase, really?! I thought. So that was the end of the attempt of packing at least for a few more days :)

   Now to business. I must say I was sooooo done with the video thing last week, I got frustrated with my computer/camera and lack of nice background for the videos but I did manage to accomplish a makeup transition look after I posted a pic on instagram of my "bare" skin.

   Well that's what everyone was thinking but true be said I had makeup on, but the look was so natural it made it for a beautiful flawless skin look for anytime of the day. I start the video showing you how I accomplished that look and finish it on showing easy ways to transform that natural, day look into an evening out face.

Benefit Hello Flawless foundation on "warm me up" ; Real Techniques expert and blush brushes; milani baked blush in "dolce pink.
    The above picture shows exactly what I used on my face on the picture. But and that's a big BUT, I have had the benefit foundation for months I could never get quite the "flawless" look so I'm pretty sure the responsible for that task is the Real Technique expert brush. It's dense and it buffs the foundation on so very well you get that celebrity face, you know what I mean?! ;)

   On the video I'll show you what I did and the lighting might not be true to the look, so I apologize upfront.

Please subscribe to my channel, that really helps me keep on going with the videos!

iTube: Green and Pink makeup look!

   As promised this is my makeup video that goes along with yesterday's outfit! As I mentioned on the video you can find cheap alternatives to the Color Design palette from Lancome that I used on the video, in fact I found one at the store yesterday that looks exactly like mine. I haven't tested though but I'm sure if you apply a good eye primer it should help a lot!

   I am really loving the drugstore products I used on most of this makeup and am currently working on favorite videos for you my loves!

   PS: this is the palette that looks identical to my Lancome color design in Jade Fever 500, is the Maybelline Eyestudio in Forest Fury 15!!!

   Please let me know if this is a more enjoyable type of makeup tutorial for you my friends!

iTube: The Soft Black Smokey Eye for Day

   Hi ladies and gents, seems like I'm on a wave of inspiration in which I totally rely on to make my posts/videos happen, since my break from work started I found myself having more ideas and especially more time to work on fun things here on the blog. Yay!!!

   That being said, I count on you for feedback, for letting me know what you'd like to see here, etc... I'm sure you already know it but the every time you reach out to me it truly makes me jump up and down with joy, so keep those comments coming my friends ;)

This week's video is a black smokey eye look to be worn during the day for it's softness, I promise you're not going to scare away anyone in the office, much to the opposite it's a tasteful and appropriate black eye (POW!!!) look for day!

   What I used on my face to prep skin:

- Pixi pre-primer serum
- Chanel Vitalumiere tinted makeup in 40
- Mac Studio Fix concealer in NW30
- Makeup Forever waterproof aqua brow in 15

   These are the things I'm wearing right now but obviously you can use what you have at home. I do suggest matte eye shadows for this look though as the shimmery kinds will make it a bit evening-ish.

   Step-by-step eye product application:

- eye primer
- brown creamy pencil or a warm shade of brown eye shadow
- black matte eye shadow
- highlighter or shimmer eye shadow under the brow at the brow bone
Then smoke it all out with a blending brush, and don't forget the lower lash line!
- eye liner (can be pencil, gel, liquid whatever you prefer!) and line the water line, that really makes a difference ;)

Ready to rock!

iTube: The Nearly Naked Foundation Routine by Karina Reske

   This tutorial goes trough my latest foundation routine, I'm starting to add a bit of glow here and there to welcome spring in a happy way ;) but what I'm really loving right now is the Nearly Naked foundation from Revlon, which is about $10 and it definitely performs like a high end foundation!

  Another awesome product (not so budget friendly but most definitely a must for spring/summer glowy skin is the Dior shimmer powder, I'm using the 002 Amber Diamond but the pink combination is also very cute!

   Other products used on this video is the PIXI line relaxer, pre primer;
MAC studio finish cream concealer;
Lancome blush in Mocha Havanna;
Bobbi Brown blush in Apricot;
Dior New Look mascara;
L'oreal pink lipstick

Hope you enjoy this everyday base for your makeup as much as I do!

iTube: Natural looking makeup for the everyday!

   Today I made a natural looking makeup tutorial for you to endure your day looking pretty and flawless! I recently purchase the Christmas special brush kits from MAC, but they don't have the kits anymore so if you're willing to spend a little more I highly recommend the full size version of them: 130, 187 and 188 Short Duo Fibre Brush $42 and $35. These brushes are a blend of natural and synthetic hair but extra-soft, this is really all you need for amazing product blend, they are perfect for creams, liquids and powder textures, in other words everything! Also invest on a great eye pencil that slides and blends well, the one I used on the video and part of my everyday routine is the Stubborn Brown also by MAC. Hope you enjoy ;)

Keep in touch, as always I highly value you feedback...and I'll see you soon!

iTube: My first makeup tutorial...highlight and bronze yourself!!

   Hahaha! Ok, don't laugh too hard now, you should save some laughs for the video!

   Apart from the fact that I'm VERY inexperienced with video editing and such I thought the info was pretty relevant and with the help of my BFF I know I'll eventually master the video editing thing...or not, only time will tell! But please be gentle on your critics as I have a heart too:)

   This is a makeup tutorial about how to use the illuminator or highlighter and the bronzer to help shape up your face.

*Note: I'm not a professional but have been doing my own makeup and my friends' for years, so if you are a pro feel free to give us all pro tips, these ones are from a girl just like you!!!

**Here's a list of the products and colors I used on the video:

- Clinique Moisture Surge (tinted moisturizer SPF15) in Medium
- Magic Lumi - Light infusing primer by L'oreal
- Lancome blush in Shimmer Mocha Havanna ( you can use any bronzer you already have, as long as it's darker than your skin color)
- Chanel ombre d'eau in 737 Riviera (what I called peach in the video)
- Physicians Formula powder palette minerals glow pearls in 5J Bronze Pearls
- Bobbi brown blush in flame 4
- L'oreal power volume collagen

 Hope you got a kick out of it and once again feedback is appreciated.
