Sunday Funday!

Little kids birthday parties are another way I'm squeezing a look lately. I know it might sound exhaustive to find the perfect outfit for some, but for me it's actually quite entertaining - given I have the time, which doesn't always happen!

My point being, now a days you have the option to follow blogs for inspiration (easiest and cheapest way) or get yourself a stylist (like ME!!!), people like me are everywhere and ready to help the busy ladies out there. Many luxury stores around the country offer this service for free, just ask ;) another tip for when you are in fact looking for a stylist is to match her style to yours, we all have different styles and that is what differentiate us from one another, and what clients look for when trying to chose the best option for their goals!

Back to Sunday's birthday party, shall we?! I wanted to wear something cute yet casual. Nothing better than a jeans, tee and flats combo, but in this case I added my newest acquisition (a bargain I must say!) to the combo - a cute cobalt blue studded motorcycle jacket!!! It made the outfit :D

The find of the season: studded motorcycle jacket, Forever 21, $30; jeans, J Brand $150 and up; shoes and belt, Jorge Alex -past collections-

Don't have time to wash your hair?! Braid it girl! Take advantage of the braid trend and get ready in just a few minutes.

The perks of being a mommy fashion blogger is that I'm blogging while building a family album ;)

All accessories from Stella & Dot

Pictures taken by my sweet little Bella (she has been my main photographer these days!) @ the Vail Racquet Club.

Just so you know, I've been really "lost in inspiration" lately but am working hard to bring back my old self and get more involved with blogging again...to prove that I'm preparing a little surprise for my readers!! Just wait and see :)

AccessoriZe: Silver time

As fashion related to clothes changes, fashion related to accessories and everything else in the "beauty" industry changes as well, and even though it's obviously GOLD time out there, it's also a great time to mix your metals and to explore them as well. Take a look at the trends and you can see that pretty much anything goes, it's the crazy 2010's for ya...you can totally be yourself and still be in vogue :) oh yes!!

So, talking about metals some people simply look their best in silver and that's why my accessory look of the day is for the SILVER lovers out there!!

LookBook: Neutro Total

Back from a break....again ;)

Today's look is a basic neutral and a sophisticated yet soft sub from the black and white looks. Shades of gray paired with shades of nude always go well no matter the occasion. I adore this look not only because the dress was a birthday gift from my fashionista friend Isabela Paim but because the silhouette is so boho and flowy but it becomes instantly chic and put together with a tailored little blazer!

  Ideas to try:

 1. Play with different lengths and try a nude mini-skirt with a gray maxi-cardie

 2. Super high nude pumps will take the look straight to a night of partying, along with pulling up the sleeves of the jacket

 3. This look works best with a smoky eye and nude lips. If it's too hot out I would just contour the eyes and wear a soft pink shade on the lips ;D

Dress Mossimo from Target, blazer H&M, shoes Jorge Alex, costume jewelry from independent street jewelry designers from the coast of Sao Paulo Brazil.

LookBook: Refreshing Pop of Color!

It was one of those cold and overcast days of spring when I had the chance to wear my skinnies with my new Zara yellow tweet jacket! I was meeting with a client but wasn't scheduled to work that day, so I could afford to wear more casual clothes but in a professional looking way.

  •  Think office casual, you want to wear your jeans but not look like it's the weekend  already. Keep the look pulled together pairing a cute tailored jacket.
  • Accessorize, that's the ultimate wild card for spring! You can possibly wear the same outfit several times and keep the look fresh by accessorizing differently every time.
  • Transform this look in an evening outfit by switching to heels and wearing stronger make up. Also unzip the bottom part of the jacket to make it cropped and pull the sleeves up!
  • And as always, have fun!!!!

Yellow jacket by Zara, green knit blouse by Urban Outfiters, Skinny pants by J Brand, mustard pointy shoes and belt by Jorge Alex, watch (old, old, old) by Michael Kors and bracelets you can find on the mother's day post with all the price info!
