LookBook: The high and low military look

   These pics were taken a few weeks ago without me knowing about the edgy trends...well I guess that's why I do what I do ;)

   This idea is to mix the fancier fabrics with the military "worn-out" piece (in this case, a denim shirt). I like to cinch my waist so add a bold belt and finish the look with girly accessories. It adds a personal touch.

   Keep in mind this outfit was worn during summer time, for fall I suggest a heavier dress made of wool or velvet to maintain the chic aesthetic and still be playful, even a thick pair of tights with ankle booties will do it!

LookBook: Corinthians Campeao!

Today is black & white day!

I've got a few comments from last night's passionate Facebook posts from my American friends asking: - what the heck was going on last night?!

Well my team just happened to win the most important championship of the Americas! That's what it was ;)

So today I put on my black and white jacket to celebrate with the rest of the 30 million plus Corinthians fans!! Enjoy and laugh out loud with me!!! Hahaha

LookBook: Whites!

Great sunny day to go shopping with dear bro! A white look with camel accents is the perfect summer chic ensemble ;)

Try crisp white top and bottom and play matchup with the belt and shoes, the shades of camel don't have to match perfectly but everything needs to be in harmony to look great, I would recommend a camel or white handbag as well!!

LookBook: Mini balloon-skirt dress with open back!

 I got this cutie at H&M Chicago a couple of weeks ago. So sad this kind of dresses never make it to the Indy stores, what's up with that?! Frustrations aside I'm happy I got it...not only it compliments the shades of my new hair style ;P but it goes a long way when changing the accessories and pulling the hair up in a bun. It's a special little dress for an even specialer price!

 This time I wore with a long tan leather belt (I love when the belt is long enough to tie at the end, it adds a little something something!!) from Ann Taylor and a pair of green textured leather heels from Ralph Lauren (both items are from past seasons, sorry!) but I also put it on with a deep brown leather belt and chunky heels and it looked absolutely bold, at the end though I went with hunny bunny's choice ;)

Look Book: Mint & Brown

This is a BCBG mint or teal dress - however you see it ;) paired up with a rough leather jacket. If you know me well you already know that this is my fave look, the feminine dress with the edgy leather piece!!

Chi-Chi town in Hot Company!

Yesterday I went to Chicago, thanks to my dear friend Eutemia, who had to pick up her passport in the Brazilian Consulate.

Of course any excuse is good enough to justify the trip, so there we went...lots of talk and philosophies (haha!), singing and venting we finally arrived and we were ready to shop!

Mother's Day Goodies

Yesterday I took my old shoes to the shoe repair at the mall and to my disappointment I found out they can't be repaired :( oh well that's life, I got a looooot of wear out of those!

But my trip wasn't a total waste of time since I found my mother's day gift (yes, I do the shopping and just tell hubby that's his gift for me - not romantic but very practical!! haha) Now I just wanted to share my goodies with you, I'm addicted to Pinterest (thanks to my dear friend Isabela!) and have been seeing so many hot accessories for spring that I made a point of getting only costume jewelry. I'm in love!!!
